Just a quick update on FB’s new Lookalike Expansion:
1) Once it rolls out to your account, you’ll get tossed an error at first. Make sure you refresh it.
2). You’ll then need to remove locations from said Lookalike(s) and use the ‘Locations’ section to pinpoint on geos (countries, states, etc).
Once you tap that button, it pulls the location from the LAL. This sounds incredibly counter-intuitive because you essentially are left with a worldwide LAL BUT it’s “dialed in” using locations… We’ll see 🤷♂️
I’ll be running a test across 50% of our portfolio, comparing this new feature vs. our top-performing LALs. This will be across varied spends ($35-235k /mo) and varied products/niches.
